Fourth Child on the Way for Terrence Howard

Update: Howard and Miranda are expecting a son, he tells E! News. The mom-to-be is six months along, PEOPLE has learned.

Just after the stroke of midnight, actor Terrence Howard took to the stage to rap at Orange County hotspot AnQi – but the big moment of the night was yet to come.
Following his performance Howard was joined on stage by AnQi owner Elizabeth An, who revealed to the crowd that the Empire star and his wife Mira are expecting their first child together.
Miranda – who wed Howard in 2013 – “glowed with joy” as her husband rubbed her belly and the crowd cheered after the announcement, an onlooker tells PEOPLE.
Howard is already a father to three children – Aubrey, 21, Hunter, 19, and Heaven, 17 – from his first marriage as well as grandfather to Aubrey’s 3-year-old daughter Hazel.
