The entertainment world has lost a beloved member.  Neel Nanda, a stand-up comedian who appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and Comedy Central's Adam Devine's House Party, has died at the age of 32. "I [am] deeply shocked and saddened by this," Nanda's manager Greg Weiss said in a Dec. 24 statement to Deadline. "He was a wonderful comic, but a better person. He had the world in front of him." A cause of death has yet to be shared publicly.

Authorities say the mother of an 11-year-old Florida girl who was killed after being abducted in 2004, has died of a heroin overdose. Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said Thursday that Susan Schorpen's death is one of eight fatal overdoses being investigated in the central Florida county. The Herald-Tribune reports the 47-year-old woman died April 10. One week after 47-year-old Susan Schorpen died at a hospital in Winter Haven, the Polk County Sheriff's Office now says she 'ultimately died of a heroin overdose.
