Netflixs Chambers Will Not Return for a Second Season

Chambers, the very creepy supernatural Netflix drama about a heart transplant gone awry, will not be returning for a second season. “We’re grateful to creator and showrunner Leah Rachel for bringing this story to us and to her fellow executive producers Alfonso Gomez Rejon, Steve Gaghan from Super Emotional, Winnie Kemp and Wolfgang Hammer from Super Deluxe, and Jennifer Yale,” the streaming service told Deadline in a statement. “We’re also thankful to the tireless crew, and to our incredible cast, especially Uma Thurman, Tony Goldwyn and talented newcomer Sivan Alyra Rose.” Rose, who played transplant recipient Sasha Yazzie for the series, became the first Native American woman to star in a leading role in a television series with her debut. She took time out shortly after the news broke to issue heartfelt good-byes to fans as well as the show’s cast and crew.
