Julia Stiles has given birth to her first child with husband, Preston J. Cook.

The couple announced today that they welcomed a baby boy on October 20. They've named him Strummer Newcomb Cook.

Julia and Preston tied the knot in September, sharing an Instagram picture captioned: 'Who doesn't love a shotgun wedding?' They met back in 2005 and got engaged on Christmas Eve 2015.

Famous for roles in Save The Last Dance and 10 Things I Hate About You, the 36-year-old actress recently starred in the popular new drama, Riviera .
